FileMaster4M · Last updated: 16 June 2026
FileMaster4M does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking.
1. Overview
FileMaster4M is a native macOS file manager. It runs entirely on your Mac. The developer operates no servers that receive your data, and the app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect personal information, usage statistics, device identifiers, crash analytics, or any behavioral data. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to sell, share, or hand to third parties.
3. Files and folders
The app accesses only the files and folders you explicitly choose through the standard macOS open panel. Access persists across launches via App Sandbox security-scoped bookmarks. FileMaster4M does not request Full Disk Access and never scans your disk in the background.
4. Network connections
FileMaster4M includes an optional FTP and SFTP client. Network connections are made only to servers you explicitly enter. Connection details and passwords you provide are stored locally in the macOS Keychain and are transmitted only to the server you connect to, using standard FTP/SSH. No connection metadata is sent to the developer.
5. Cloud storage folders
Cloud locations (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud Drive, Box) are shown only by reading the local folders that the official desktop apps create under ~/Library/CloudStorage. FileMaster4M uses no cloud APIs, no OAuth, and no online accounts.
6. Data retention and deletion
Since no data is collected or transmitted to us, there is no personal data stored on any server to retain or delete. Credentials saved in your Keychain are removed when you delete the corresponding connection or uninstall the app.
7. Children
FileMaster4M is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from any user, regardless of age.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
